Cant install GTX570 drivers

Hello LTT forum, I bought a used Gtx 570 and when i try to install drivers (fresh win 10 install) the screen stays at the same 1024 X 768 resolution. In geforce experience it always says new driver available and when i install it through there the same thing happens, and after the install it still says new driver available

 

Any help is appreciated!

As for the resolution thing, my memory is a 570 can’t handle more than 1080p.  As for driver updates and an infinite update loop I haven’t heard of one myself but I’ve not tried to install a 570 on win10.  The 570 predates win10 by a good bit.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

it's likely you'll have to manually search for drivers, and the geforce experience on that card is probably broken

 

iirc, 500 series got dropped from driver support already

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

I have a HD6850 so it should be good

No, i just meant that the gtx 570 is an upgrade
