700 Watt PSU enough for Dual 780's in SLI @stock speeds?

DoubleY

don't really need another one though.

You said it wasn't demanding, but then you said it is, so it is a demanding game.

@1080p it isn't demanding, @1440p it is.

My EVGA PSU's for mining had those cables...

Hopefully this picture shows what I mean. It has two of these cables:

1 8 pin plugged into the PSU, and 2x 6+2 pins on the other end making it so you only need 1 cable per GPU

your 750watt psu's are in a different series, the "nex" series, mine is the supernova series

I had EVGA 1000 and 1300 G2's that had it though... pretty sure that's a supernova

...

just saying it CAN actually deliver its rated power of 700W, so you can actually SLI your system,... if you have the 'balls' to do it.

but personally, i don't really want to push PSU's. so for me, i don't suggest it, but you still CAN do it.

Another thing to note, Reviewer said that this thing is loud as a ''jet engine'' at near full load. so if you're noise sensitive, i (again) don't advise going SLI.

Psu's are tested and rated to run at those loads, if it couldn't deliver 700 watts it wouldn't be rated to do so.  While running at 24/7 700 watt capacity could be bad, running it at 700 every day for a few hours is no big deal. (which it never will be, it'll be closer to 500-600 watts)

The g2 is the same as the p2 (cable interface), it has one plug per cable with 1 plug at each end.

Do I need to go take pictures of the cables that come with the G2's?

You can do whatever you want, but I'm telling you how the cables with my p2 are, and considering that picture of the g2's modular interface shows 6 pci-e outputs, that would be 6x 6+2 cables. If you're gonna throw a hissyfit go ahead lol

This is how most of the cables are for the G2: Not sure why a higher end PSU from the same company in the same series would be any different (it isn't, I checked the EVGA website) So I don't know why your PSU didn't come with the proper cables. How do you think I power 5 GPU's off of 1 G2 1000? It wouldn't be possible if every cable was only 1x 8pin to a 6+2 pin. A 270X required 2 power connectors.
