Ram Support with Asus B550-F Gaming (WIFI)

I'm looking for 32 GB of ram, the only two kits I found of 4x8 GB are:

G.SKILL Trident Z Neo 32GB $219

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB $266

The question is: Can I mix TWO kits of 2x8?

For example: Crucial Ballistix

Some one told me:

main issue since they are sold as 2x8 rather than 4x8 if it refuse to work with 4 the manufacturer will reply

"we sell them as 2x8 not our problem"

That's my fear.

Or should I go 2x16GB Instead? I noticed those are WAY cheaper: TEAMGROUP T-Force Dark Za 32GB $159

Main use of this build is Gaming, Photoshop and Web Design.

You should go 2x16, that should work the best. Also if 3200mhz cl16 is cheaper go with that, it's the same speed. Also, uhh b550-f ;_; not a super great board

if 2x16 is way cheaper, go for it. The reason is, memory channels arent determined by ur ram, but by ur mobo. You could have 2 ram sticks, stick them both in one channel and then ur pc would be run in single channel comfiguration. Most motherboards have 2 ram channels. So the 2x16gb and 4x8gb wouldnt have any performance difference. Definetely go with that unless u want to fill out all ur ram slots for aesthetic perposes.

my signiture was cool, but its a lie now

For what chip? Either the B550-A pro or the B550 aorus elite. The B550-F has pretty doodoo vrms, they're SiC 639's in a 4x3+2 config

Yeah, either board would be fine with it. The A pro is cheaper but the aorus has more features.
