You can basically get anything you like, doesn't matter until you can buy a full set.

Get the one with a longer warranty period.

Motherboards only has 1-3 years warranty.

Don't buy anything 1 year warranty.

You've really got to have some kind of a plan, and frankly $200 isn't going to buy you much of anything, especially right now.

Just save up until you have enough to buy the whole computer, and aren't trying to piece it together bit by bit. That's the wrong way to build a system.

I looked at pc parts and what I can buy for 200 is a motherboard and case and it equals exactly 200 but the ram psu and storage all equal about 220 and the CPU and GPU about  550

That's the wrong way to build. Depending on how long it takes you, you're going to overpay for some stuff, and have outdated stuff by the time you've completed it.

I did it your way, with a total span of 10 weeks for all orders. Start with components that depreciate least, case is definitely among those.

PSU and storage are also fairly stable, though the current mining boom has also made PSUs scarce.

Ram is always tricky and can go in any direction.

GPUs will massively crash, but it could be another year until we see that.

Please invest in an efficient PSU with >90%.  My favourite is Seasonic, but quality>brand

When do you think you can get enough money to complete the PC ?

Buying a few parts now makes no sense if it will take 6 months to complete your PC.

But if I were to buy something now I would start by looking for a good GPU for near MSRP prices.

With todays crazy GPU shortage it could take a long time to find a GPU for a resonable price.

Also..

Intel is launching its "new" 11th gen CPUs in a few weeks.

I think it is unlikely that Intel would be better than Ryzen 5000 but I would still wait to see the performance of the new CPUs.

Why not just telling your total budget, then we can help you decide which part to take one by one if you plan to get them little by little.

We also don't know what you are planning to do with your system (gaming? video editing? streaming? just school work? ...)

Rushing to get parts especially now is not a good idea so if you want better value you should keep saving until you reach a certain budget (like 800 for example) and then buying everything in one swipe when prices are back to normal.

$250 for a 1070ti is actually an ok price these days for that GPU.

The performance of a 1070ti is still quite good and would be ok for a 1080p/60hz gaming PC.

But it is a 4-5 year old and second hand GPU could work perfectly for another 1-3 years or it could break in 6 months.

There is no way to know how it has been used or how long it will last.

well what are you using the GPU for? If it's basic 1080p AAA gaming of 1080p esports titles the 1070ti is still a good choice

the 1070ti will perform identically, and it has all the NVIDIA features (shadowplay, NVIDIA reflex, NVENC Encoder, etc) while being $100 cheaper. Get the 1070ti
