Monitor Audio Issues Win10 (LG 32UN500-W)

Hello!

 

I recently bought a LG 32UN500W monitor and it works great except the built in speakers don't work on my windows 10 PC that I built

the speakers are functioning since I tried connecting my monitor through HDMI to my laptop and audio was fine but not on my PC

In my sound settings on my PC the only source is 'REALTEK DIGITAL OUTPUT (REALTEK(R) AUDIO" not the monitor speaker, they don't show, like when I tried with my laptop the speakers worked with the source that said something LG and the model name, I don't have that source show up on my PC

Im connected to my PC via HDMI into my RX570, I've tried reinstalling audio drivers and updating windows

 

Anybody have any help?

Try reinstalling your GPU drivers (possibly need to use DDU).

normally gpus don't output audio

But the GPU isn't outputting the audio? the audio is coming from the monitors built in speakers. but windows isn't recognizing those speakers. unless im missing something? thank you!

update: reinstalled and updated GPU drivers, no difference. thank you for your help tho!

NVIDIA or what manufacture you GPU is called audio device

Yea, and I've tried reinstalling and updated my AMD drivers for the GPU to no avail unfortunately
