Can someone help figure out which ADT-link M.2 adapter would work best for a M.2 A+E key slot?

As the tittle states I am looking to use a ADT-link m.2 pcie adapter for a RX580 and looking for something that gives me the best data rates I know this is a bottle neck but still something I want to try. Let me know if you know what the best option of these are there seems to be quite a few of them.

I agree it is not ideal but want to try this for gaming with a monitor connected to the RX580. This seems like exactly what I was looking for but this doesn't seem like a full size pcie slot for the card would it still work? I was thinking of something like a exd gdc beast adapter but it seems they are more expensive and less signal quality.

Yes. Most PCIe devices will work with a smaller number of lanes (just at reduced bandwidth). The x4 slot is open on the end to accommodate x16 cards.

Intersting I thought it was only smaller cards could go in to bigger slots, any idea by how much this would reduce a RX580 in terms of maybe a similar card? I also just found this adapter but I think in theory it does the same one as you linked because I am still bottle necked by the M.2 port right?

M-key and A&E-key are not compatible. A&E will give you PCIe x2 bandwidth (I believe). It's going to be a performance hit to pretty much any GPU.

I think I may just save up for a thunderbolt enclosure. I can't get another gpu if it falls and I would want better bandwidth.
