Upgrade from 1060 to 3060, no difference?

AverageLeo

Yeah well what did you expect? Rust is single core limited so a gpu upgrade will do exactly nothing. It's been a known issue since the launch of the game.

So I need to upgrade the CPU to see the difference?

I saw benchmarks on YT for different cards with nice gains.

Look at their cpu's. Yes that is what you need for rust. It's a terribly optimized game and will always have fps issues due to random stuff.

tbh the 7700K would not be bad in that regard, especially if it's overclocked on that setup.

but yeah, GPU power goes to waste on rust. Not good gains.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Again that is a cpu bottlenecked benchmark. It's a very old benchmark and it is now running into cpu bound issues. Literally the problem rust has. Download superposition and you'll see your 3600 perform as intended.
