To skip disk checking, press any key within...

So originally, all three of my windows installs used the same EFI boot manager that was located on my old m.2. That obviously caused issues as it was essentially holding one ssd hostage – i remove it, nothing else works.

 

So today i've just created new EFI boot managers so each drive has its own EFI system partition.

 

However, since the old boot manager remembers it originally had three boot options, it now thinks something's gone wrong and prompts me with a disk check every time i boot up, saying "To skip disk checking, press any key within x seconds." 

 

If i skip disk checking, it boots up just fine. But is there any way for me to get rid of this auto procedure? it's kinda annoying.

While you can't prevent Check Disk from triggering due to detected file system issues, you can use the Chkntfs or Check NTFS utility to disable Check Disk from triggering due to an improper system shutdown. Click "Start" and type “cmd” in the Search box, and press “Enter.” Type “chkntfs /x c:” and press “Enter.” Substitute “C” for your system volume drive letter in the unlikely event that Windows is installed on a drive other than C.

Windows PE and Windows installer use X as the system volume drive.

Ah managed to fix it. went into System Configuration and under the boot tab, deleted all other OS profiles except the current one. Cheers
