Whats the best graphics card i can get

Ive got a 500w psu (https://www.scan.co.uk/products/500w-seasonic-core-gold-gc-500-80plus-gold-single-rail-41a-120mm-fan-atx-psu) and i was wondering whats the most powerful graphics card i can run comfortably on it. I was thinking like on the terms of 1070 or 980 ti

Well, considering the state of the GFX card market right now, you're lucky to find anything for sale, much less at MSRP. You're gonna get ripped off buying new, and scalped buying used. If you can hold off for some months, let the market return to more sane levels, and then your money will go further.

You can probably do a 1070 with that PSU. What are your system specs?

well ive got just a gpu and cpu left to buy then im set 

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 2600

MoBo - MSI PRO VDH-MAX

RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO (2x8gb @ 3200mhz)

PSU - Seasonic core GC 500W (80+ Gold)

Storage - A400 480gb and Seagate 2tb hdd

Case - Phanteks p400a drgb

 

(Ive also got rgb keyboard and mouse if that makes a differenece)

I've had a the following running on a 520w PSU

AMD R5 3600

16gb Ram

Asus Strix 1070ti and later a 2070 super FE

 

even had both cards running for a short while when i was F@H (The PSU was maxxed out then lol)

the PSU I was using was Seasonic-M12II-EVO 520w
