Pin design is different on psu cables and mobo

Hi I'm building my first computer coming from a background of fpv drone building so this is really freaking me out. I have a corsair 750 power supply and the supplied cpu cable plugs in perfectly but the design on the pins differ. Will this be ok?

I would check the board manual but seems fine, only thing I notice is there is a rounded pin where there should be a squared one.

You shouldnt shove a power cable where it doesnt fit.

I'm geniunley confused by this. I'd return the PSU and get a new one. If you e-mail corsair about this they should see the issue and replace it instantly.
