What motherboard to buy for Ryzen 5 3600, when there is no GPU in sight?

So, as there is a shortage of GPU's in my city, and everywhere else, I would like to know, what motherboard would be the best option to buy for Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, that (as far as I searched the web) has a graphics capability, and a possibility of NOT needing a GPU to show something on screen.

Which do you recommend? I found "GIGABYTE B450 AORUS ELITE", which has an integrated graphics chipset, and if this won't work, then what motherboard under (approximately) $120 USD.

(For gaming and Cinema4D, for a bit more clarity.)

Thank you :D

A good choise for a mobo is the asrock pro 4 or  b450/m steel legend they got good vrms and the steel legend also has the rgb blink. I dont know the prices of these mobos in your country but in my countly they are like 80 euros. Lastly the r5 3600 doesnt have an igpu so it would be best to buy a low end gpu (like the 1030) for a placeholder unlty gpu rices go down.

I'm sorry, that's not happening on a placeholder gpu.

In terms of finding a placeholder gpu, the used market will provide better value than a gt 710.

Thank you 😄

All AMD motherboards have display out ports HOWEVER you need the integrated graphics which is in the CPU itself to use them. Any AMD CPU that doesn't have a G at the end will NOT output graphics otherwise without a dedicated GPU.

3600 won't work without a gpu no matter what motherboard. It doesn't have built in graphics. You'd have to go for an AMD cpu that ends in "G"(3200g) or an Intel CPU that doesn't end in an "F" (9400f) (9900KF etc)

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

So, I just need to find a different CPU. I found "AMD Ryzen 5 3400G", but the motherboard is incompatible (according to the PCPartPicker). Is there a spec that shows the compatibility with this CPU?

Found a compatible motherboard "ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming-ITX/TB3", is this one good?

B550 or X570 would be compatible out of the box yes

Go for any second hand gpu like 960 or 570 or even 1050 ti if it is possible to find and keep the 3600 because if you downgrade to 3400G you will lose performance.

B550 is not compatible with r5 3400g.

You want ideally a b450 motherboard. A cheap good option is the asrock b450 pro 4

Sadly, there are no GPUs in my country, and countries surrounding it, so... no luck on that part
