RTX 3090 died after a month of use

resident1

While casually playing games, my monitor went black with no signal. After restarting the pc, it won't boot and the VGA light went red on my b550 mobo. The gpu I have is an rtx 3090 trinity from Zotac.
Sadly, RMA is not an option for me. I bought the gpu in another country and the factory cooling was changed to an EK one.

Anyone having similar issues? Any solutions?

Try to RMA it anyway, or find someone else to that can fix it.

Also, did you check the power connectors at the GPU and the PSU?

Yeah, tried two different PSUs with two different cables.
I will see what Zotac has to say about it, it's taking a while for them to reply. But based on their warranty policy, I don't know what to expect, really...

You may have to pay to have it fixed.

Also, I don't recommend modifying any new GPU right now because of the situation of how things are right now.
