Dell 7567 low gpu usage in games

Sagoito

Hello there,

I saw that my gpu usage during gaming is kinda low, usually around 60% and I can't find out why. (It doesn't go higher)

CPU usage is around 70%, I found out that i had thermal throttling issue, so I replaced thermal paste and thermal pads. Also did clean install of gpu drivers. Everything is updated.

Games I checked: valorant, csgo, overwatch.

My spec:
Windows 10x64

i7 7700hq

1050Ti

1x16 GB 2400 MHz

SanDisk x400 M.2 2280 256GB

WDC WD10JPVX-75JC3T0

What should i check? I didn't set any frame cap, so it should render most it is possible to, but I clearly see it does not.

That's odd. Maybe try boosting graphics settings to ultra as a test just to know for sure that it's not some sort of cpu or ram bottleneck

Probably power limitations honestly.

Tried this, I set everything I could to max and still gpu and cpu usage didn't increase that much (It increased but a few percentage)

Is it possible in notebook? Can I change it by any way?

power plan settings in windows, try setting that to max performance. that might do something if its just a power plan.

no, your limited by the wattage your power brick can provide. You could try and get a higher wattage brick, but then you're likely to run into thermal issues.

But if my brick would limit me, I probably should't run aida64 test on evertyhing (cpu + gpu + disk + ram) at once. I did this test and everything worked fine.

no, you can.. you just cant draw any more power than it will give. Also, there could be limitations Dell has in place as well to limit power as well. Its the nature of laptops.

I mean by that test every single unit (gpu, ram, cpu, disks) was loaded to maximum for one hour, so my brick was enough for that
