Gsync as a whole is dying a slow death now that Nvidia is certifying Freesync to work. Doesn't make sense for a manufacture to pay 3-500$ for a module from Nvidia when they can do the same thing for free with an open standard from VESA.

They do? Most have freesync tho or whatever. It's all the same anyways. Both freesync and gsync are based on variable refresh rate so nvidia finally caved a couple years ago and stopped locking nvidia users out of using the free to use freesync instead of having to pay extra for a feature that already existed in a lot of monitors natively without extra cost.

Erm no?

Problem with GSYNC is you'll need to have dGPU only connection which will cause poor battery life, however the solution is having a MUX switch (in Optimus/MSHybrid GSYNC won't work though)
