Not sure what you mean. Those are a lot of older parts. Personally I wouldn't buy first gen Ryzen.

Definitely wouldn't pay that much for that PSU, considering you have no use for something that high wattage.

A 635$ first gen ryzen? Hell naw.

Newegg has 5600x and 5800xs in stock for MSRP,

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

for 630 dollars?  You can get a 10th Gen Intel 10850, Motherboard, and 16GB of good RAM

No, very not worth it.

Also, I'm assuming your GPU is used?

It's very overpriced for a lower-power system.

I brought all this December 2020 as a present from over quarantine, all from eBay and not to shabby of a machine, and easy to upgrade to something like a 3060 in the future (when they don't cost over a grand and can actually buy them)

2x Intel Xeon L5640 (12C 24T Total)

64 Gigs Samsung 1066 ECC DDR3

Crucial MX500 480gig SSD

3x Toshiba 500gig HDDs which are in raid 0 (I have backups on my NAS)

10Gig fibre PCI-E card

Nvidia K4200 GPU

3x HP Elite display E232 monitors

Generic HP keyboard

Some wired Logitech mouse

Sony HiFi system (10inch sub under desk)

So I honestly didn't care much for what you had up op so I built you something better for around the same price including a micro mobo, boot drive, nice case, better ram, cheaper psu with same wattage, better aio that will work much better then what you had up & even a cool monitor to but i took the price so you can see the build without it, sadly due to the current gpu crysis i did not include a gpu as its honestly what ever close to msrp price you can get rn. hope you like it.

Guys, the OP said they would be buying parts used.  Not paying $600 for a first gen ryzen that would be crazy.

From my quick search around evilbay, I found the average price for a R7 1800 would be about $155 (USD)

Anyway I digress, I would say no way unless you can get the entire rig for like $500 - $600.

Something more like this would be better:  (for the GPU all you can do is sign up for evga's notify me and try to get one.)

I recommend the 3700X over a 5600X because the price difference is minimal and I think the extra cores are worth it over the small increase in IPC.

Also the 3060Ti is within about 5% of the 1080Ti from a quick google search.

So then why'd you declare it you 'dream PC'? Or is an ancient used system really your dream?
