Simultaneous speaker and Headphone TV output

Hi,

 

My Grandad is having trouble with hearing the TV now but doesn't want to have the tv to load when my Grandma is or isn't watching it, so thus would like to be able to listen through headphones while my Grandma does or doesn't listen through speakers.

 

They have a old plasma screen tv and have no intention on upgrading unless it brakes so I doubt there is any way of doing it through the tv. They would be open to the idea of a sound bar and then someway for them to be able to listen through the sound bar and the headphones simultaneously.

 

As for headphones my grandad is getting a set of Bose 700's so Bluetooth connection would be ideal.

 

Any suggestions would be much appreciated Thanks

No mention of the audio outputs you have on the TV, its brand or model, so hard to know what options you have. Can you get that info and post it?
