Can I get a recommendation for a headset around $50 USD that I can get at best buy? TIA

I use hyper x cloud cores, a step up from the one in the link, and they have decent sound quality and they havent broken or scratched yet. The corsair one has good reviews and imo has a better build quality look to it, so you can choose.

If I were you I'd go for the HyperX ones that @Elo Gaming mentions. My friend has them and likes them, and I have similar ones and also like them.

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

I know the perfect headset for you! The ESKA E1000 7.1 Surround Sound is Awesome and super comfortable. Definitely recommend that one!

I ended up getting the hs60 pros. They’re pretty good. Thanks.
