GPU Running Hot at Idle - EVGA RTX 3080 XC3 ULTRA

smrtblue

First off I am new to PC building, this is the first system that I have built.  From what I am reading my GPU (and CPU) seem to be running hot at idle not sure if this is the case, but trying to see what I can do to bring the temp down.  At Idle the GPU is at 55c, I have shut down all the recommended background stuff that I can.  Only overclock in the system is DOCP.

Thats normal. At idle, the fans are off until 60c. If you want to change this feature, download EVGA Precision X1 or MSI Afterburner and set a custom fan curve profile.
