Ryzen 5600x build for work/games

Fuzkin

Budget (including currency): i'd love to stay in 500-650 Euro range

Country: Lithuania

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

Most intense games would be: Total War Warhammer 2 (and upcoming 3) and Squad.
Other programs: Visual Studio 2019, Visual Studio Code, CHROME.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

My biggest problems with the build are picking the right motherboard, ssd and psu.
I am debating do i need the m.2 nvme or just stick with 2.5 inch ssd like Samsung 870 evo 1TB , i don't care about 1-5 second load difference.

CPU: 5600x 340Euros
Mobo: GIGABYTE A520 AORUS ELITE 80Euros

Cooler: Stock
RAM: I already have 16gb 3200MHZ sticks so don't need it

SSD: Samsung 870 EVO 1TB 113Euros
PSU: Antec NeoEco zen 700 Watts 80 PLUS GOLD 86Euros

CASE: TBD ~40-50 Euros

Total: 669 Euros

I am looking to cut costs if possible but keep quality components as i want it to last long. I am thinking to reducing SSD size to 500GB ( would reduce ssd price to 70 Euros ) and then later buying 2nd one.

Future upgrade will be RTX 3060 ti ( or something in the same performance range)
PC would be used with 1 24inch monitor but in future i'm planning to get 2nd monitor 24 or 27inch 144hz.

At the sime time i want the pc to hold value if i ever decide to sell it.

Maybe going Ryzen 3600 would be better fit? Give me your opinions.

if you plan on using it on a 1440p monitor and you are not going to play fps titels in 1080 with max fps, go with the 3600 and save like 120€ you can spend on a 3070 instead, when prices drop

Instead of Aorus Elite, try Asrock B550 pro4. A little bit more expensive but you get better features.

You don't need 700w to run 3060ti, 600w neoeco zen should be enough.

For the ssd, get 500gb SN550 or SN750 NVME (not SATA) paired with 2TB regular HDD, so you'll get more storage for the same buck.

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

Moreover, the Samsung ssd is quiet pricy, go with an other brand like crucial: 1tb is like 80€ so you could save on that too. stock should do the 5600x, you could still get an Alpenfön afterwards is like 20-30 bucks. 3600 stock is more than enought.

Well for example you could get a WD Blue SN550 m.2 drive which albeit is 500GB but has 2400 read and 1750 write speeds and costs about 62 euro.

get a b550 board

do yo have a gpu already? the 5600x doesn't have integrated gpu, so without a gpu, you won't get video output.
