R7 2700x vs r5 3600

So I want to get a new cpu but I was wondering if it’s worth spending the €25 euros more on a second hand 3600 over the 2700x

the 2700x has slightly faster multicore performance while the 3600 has slightly faster single core. essentially its up to your use case, but they should be about the same price. if the 2700x new is cheaper then i'd just take the 2700x.

I mean second hand the r7 2700x I can’t really find new but the 3600 is €200 new

if both are second hand then you'll have to ask yourself. are you more gaming focused or workstation. the 3600 will give you slightly more FPS, but the 2700x will give you slightly better performance in all core loads like video rendering, 3d etc.

Well I forgot I have a b550 board lol and the 2700x isn’t supported so I’ll go with a 3600 or maybe a 3700
