Asus h110m-k

Hello linustechtips I bought very cheap asus h110m-k and I connect it with g4560 but pc cant post is from bios update I have to send it back so they can update it ? Or something else ? Asus website says 7/6 gen so that's why I buy it but on motherboard box says only 6 I don't have 6th gen cpu to make myself the update (pc open but no display)

The BIOS probably needs an update, and a 6th generation CPU is necessary

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad
