How to update asrock b450m steel legend for ryzen 5 5600x without older CPU

Go to solution Solved by Analog,

You don't. That motherboard doesn't support BIOS flashback without a processor. Your options are as follows:

- finding a friend that ahs an older Ryzen and asking him to borrow it

- you go tot he store where you bough the board / processor and ask them to update the board for you

I purchased this motherboard and the cpu but cant finde a way to update it, this is really strange because many other MB can be updated really easy with usb and pushing a button.

it's not universal. Not every motherboard can update without a CPU

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
