Water, stuff to make it your space, mini fridge, or if you're old enough, mini freezer for...beverages..

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

Totally agree. Underrated. Make sure to have eye drops as well if you have long computer sessions!

Slightly unrelated but If your keyboard has a detachable cable, a magnetic cable makes a huge difference. Keyboard in the way? Just chuck it somewhere, cable detaches right away.

A lamp, Headphone stand, Water Bottle (LTTStore.com), USB Hubs, Large Mousepad, an iFixit kit, maybe a Tablet or Notebook in addition to your Rig.

At least 3 different types of computers (for me that's a win7 nuc, a RasPi, an '09 Mac Mini, and of course my pc under my desk (I write code and having a low end machine of every OS for testing code is easier than debugging using a VM or dual-booting.)

I don't even have to get out of my chair to access my mini fridge, I just lean slightly to the right.
