Do think this kind of NiMH(Li-Po?) batteries are better than alkaline batteries and other NiMH for wireless mice like the G304

NiMh is not the same thing as LiPo. LiPo is li-ion, the same kind of battery as e.g. in your cellphone.

Those LiPo-cells have less capacity (AA-sized NiMh-batteries seem to typically be around 2300-2500 mAh, so that's quite a bit more capacity, including all the ones I have) than the NiMh-equivalents, but otherwise I don't see any problem.

It is because the batttery from the first link said it is a Li-Po while other batteries from Amazon says NiMh(yes, it also has Mirco USB charging like the one I linked)

Yes, because, like I said, NiMh is NOT LiPo. They are two different chemistries.

So the first link was not a LiPo?

This, you don't want LiPo for the use cases that require AA batteries anyway. Get Nihm or Li-Ion

First of all, LiPO or Li-ION are 3.7V nominal voltage, not 1.5V.

Any AA or AAA battery that claims they are LiPO or Li-ION is false, unless it is a rare chinese cell that uses special buck converters embedded inside, but I've never seen one of those ever and I wouldn't trust them at all, I'd rather not cause a house fire.

If you want good performance from an AA or AAA battery just do some research to find a good quality brand (like eneloop) that meets its rated capacity.

https://lygte-info.dk/review/batteries2012/CommonAAcomparator.php has a good battery comparison for all the test data on many cells.

Also any battery that comes with built in micro USB charging is going to be crap.

There already is extremely limited space inside an AA cell.

If you want maximum capacity then buy an Energizer Ultimate Lithium, which has far more energy than any NIMH battery (3500 vs 2500 mAh).

If you need it to be rechargeable then get a dedicated charger and buy high quality NIMH cells.

That is why I asked this. It the first time I saw a rechargeable battery with a USB port so I am a bit skeptical about it.

There are plenty of them that contain a tiny buck-converter or just a linear voltage-regulator. It's not such an uncommon thing. The issue is that the conversion consumes some of the capacity and space, which also means lower capacity, which is why NiMh has more capacity in the AA form-factor and makes more sense.

The charging circuitry takes up space that would otherwise be used for actual capacity.

That's why they are 1700mAh rather than 2000-2500 like high quality cells.

I also would highly doubt that 1700 rating is accurate.
