No. @glenalz81is correct, KFA2 is the same as Galax. They don't sell in North America under either brand name so they tend not to be well known because so much of the PC enthusiast conversation is driven by American or Canadian YouTubers, but they are a reputable company. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Now I know this is a bit off topic, but how does this card hold up in todays standards? What newer generation card is it similar to?

I believe it's similar to GTX 1660 Ti

Not really sure if there is equivalent in the latest gen cards...

if you lower the settings a bit, yes
