Looking for suggestions for new laptop

Alright, I'm in the market for a new laptop.  What I'm looking for is not a thin and light.  I'm more interested in better cooling in a thicker laptop.  Screen size between 15 to 17 inches. The games I tend to play are single player rpgs like Dragon age and Mass Effect, The Witcher series, etc.  IMy current laptop is an HP Omen with 8th gen core I5, 16 gigs ddr4 2666 ram, 1tb samsung ssd, gtx 1050ti and a 60 hrz 15 inch screen. 

 

I'm preparing myself for Mass Effect Legendary edition as well as the next Dragon Age.  And yes, I know I could build a desktop cheaper but, I travel a lot.  I'm a truck driver. So this is easier when I'm not at home.  

 

And the last question is, should I be looking at a high refresh rate 1080p display or go to a higher resolution with lower refresh rate.

@Zusafek the display you should be going is 1440p 144hz min for the sweet spot. Dont bother with 4k as the screen is tiny compared to a monitor.

Oh I forgot budget.  My goal is to stay around 2000 USD. I can go up to 2500 if needed.
