I have a imac and i was wondering if I can mine on it when i am not using it. i don't care about how little it will make i just want to know if i can and if its profitable with power costs.

Without knowing what hardware you have and how much you pay for electricity it's really hard to say if you make a profit at all. 

Mining in general should be possible I guess.

Im pretty sure you cant mine on laptops.

Maybe with some work, but I can basically guarantee you that it won't be profitable. That's not a very powerful machine.

yYh i think i found some used stuff i might use to build a rig for mining and gaming IDK i have to looking to it more.
