How to Connect my printer to my Wi-Fi

The printer I have is the HP LaserJet Pro M101-M106. The printer's ports consists of power in and that weird USB port.

 

Now the printer is NOT a wireless model but I was wondering whether I could plug into my router's USB port and sorta make it wireless? Is that possible or do I have to have to plug into my PC's USB in order to print?

I'm not too sure about having the USB plugged into your router, but I think that if you plugged your printer into a PC and shared that printer with the network, it would work, (afaik, haven't messed around with it much).

I may be stupid, but at least I'm not an idiot.

If your printer is not a "wireless" model, it cannot connect to WiFi.

To print, you will need a USB Type-B (that's what it's called) to Type-A cable (should come in your box) to connect to your computer(s) to print.

Yep, that's possible (I used to wow my parents by printing from my mom's laptop to the printer downstairs; ahhh, the good old days of Windows XP)

At least some models of Asus routers support running a USB print server on the USB port, but I can't speak to any other brands.

You can plug it in the wifi Router, most router with USB port have the printer share function.
