Best games for lower spec rig?

I have a gtx 1050 4gb mobile, paired with a i5 7300HQ and 8gb of ddr4. Just looking for recommendations for decent games, that will run at 50-60 fps. 🙂

Minecraft, Dirt Rally 2.0 will probably run fine too

I didn't think dirt rally would run, I'll have to take a closer look, thanks 🙂

I'm actually pretty open minded to games, recently I've been playing the farcry games because they run fairly easy, and I'm also into a lot of older games.

wait no, I overestimated the GTX 1050 mobile, it won't run great.

I was also kind of thinking of Dirt 3, which would run great, but unfortunately that one got pulled from Steam 😞

Ignore the Dirt Rally 2.0 recommendations, that won't run good.

with those specs pretty much any game can run at 1080p low-medium with a few expections.

Some of my favorite games, although I've never tried any of the mass effect games, I should probably look into those. thanks 🙂

Stardew Valley and Celeste are two great games that can run on pretty low spec devices, but they aren't everyone's cup of tea. I don't know if you're into or open to indie games, but if you are then you'd definitely like them (if you haven't already played them).

I mostly speak from my own past experience from similar problems. My solution may not work for you, but I'll always try my best to help as much as I can. If you want me to see your reply, make sure to quote my comment or mention me @WaggishOhio383, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

I've played Celeste before, it's definitely an amazing game. I've thought about getting stardew valley before, so maybe nows the time. Thanks 🙂

If you loved Celeste, then I think you'd definitely enjoy Stardew Valley. It has an amazing story, and near endless hours of gameplay to explore (with new content still being added). Unlike Celeste where you play through it once or twice and you're kind of just done with it. It's one of my absolute favorite games, and it's well worth the $15 it costs. If you decide to buy it, I'm glad I could help you finally commit to giving it a shot 🙂

Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim run well on low power PCs.  They are frequently on sale for about $9 and if you are into modding you can add a lot of quality of life/replayability features.  Just stay away from the texture mods.  They can really up the system requirements.

Both are amazing games, I do have them already but a great recommendation, thanks 🙂
