I am glad that I can help with a good cause, helping to oust this worldly stuff, and get life back to normal, all the while not having my new computer just sit idle at home. (Really bugs me that it did before, and I do not want to be mining either)

 

One question that I have, is if I want to use my second computer to fold as well, would I use the same passkey, or would I need a different one for each computer?

you can use the same passkey on multiple devices. 🙂

How do you mean?  I've run some Amazon cloud instances that are Linux with NVidia cards and didn't have any problems.  In fact, beyond all of the weird Linux command line stuff, configuring the service was just a few commands.  <<download nvidia drivers>>; <<install nvidia drivers>>; <<download f@h tarball>>; <<extract and install f@h tarball>>; <<start service>>

it all changes when you start to daily drive linux with a nvidia card

if it was useful give it a like :) btw if your into linux pay a visit here

i have a system running a RTX2080Ti and a Grid K2 both on Ubuntu. getting those cards to work simultaneously has been interesting to say the least, it's still not working 100%.

I’ve been noticing their servers are struggling to accept uploads from me, they go through eventually though. Seems like they might still be having issues with handling the larger capacity

I know how you feel, I've just managed to bag a gigabyte 6700 xt gaming oc.
