Chrome is killing my pc

Hi fellows, i got a problem with my pc atm

When i boot it up Chrome uses 50% of my CPU power which drastically slows booting time of apps and my pc itself.

I would love to have this fixed!

Thank you in advance!

Have you disabled fast boot? If not restart PC to clear ram (press restart, not shutdown)

I suggest you to use Chrome's own task manager to see what is using up your CPU in chrome. Do, SHIFT+ESC.

Its not neccesarily that my chrome actually opens up, i go to my task manager and it just shows that Chrome is open with 50% CPU usage but yet there is no tab open

Why is chrome launching automatically? That should not happen unless you set it to somehow. First you want to remove chrome from autostart. Next make sure you remove all chrome extensions. The only reason for chrome to autostart I can see is if you have an extension like a btc miner or a game running that needs chrome to execute and thus will start with windows. Could be something else as well but that would be my guess.
