24' Dell P2421D v 27' Philips 275E2FAE

Nykie

Hi, I'm looking on getting a new monitor, prices are vitually the same 250€ on both occations.

Monitor will be hooked on M1 Macbook Air 2020.

Here are the two options,

Dell 24' 1440p: https://www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/dell-24-monitor-p2421d/apd/210-avkx/monitors-monitor-accessories

Philips 27' 1440p : https://www.philips.co.uk/c-p/275E2FAE_00/qhd-lcd-monitor

I'm personally leaning towards the Philips choice, but I'm aware of the Dell quality of product but it's 24 inch.

Will the Philips picture be worse than Dells? Why is the 24' the same price as 27'? Is here a picutre quality difference?

What's your take on it?

Thanks alot, you helped on many occations.

I'd lean towards the Philips as well since 24" inch is too small for me for a primary display. Plus, it's 75 Hz vs. 60 Hz if that matters to you.

Both are IPS panels, so no differences there. Phillips also have Freesync, but not sure if the R9 390 supports that or not so that may not matter to you (I know very little about AMD GPUs).

Be sure to QUOTE or TAG me in your reply so I see it!
