My first pc build, and I need help picking the parts.

Country: The Netherlands

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Productivity, games like, iRacing, DirtRally 2.0 F1 2020, shooters, phasmophobia, GTA V, minecraft, cities:skylines.

Other details I don't need any other peripherals as of now, but monitor upgrades in the future would be nice ofc.

What kind of productivity? Office or something more intense like video editing?

 

Also can you wait? You cannot get a gpu and if you can they are severely overpriced. So at best you will get a mid midrange system whilst this is normally the budget of some higher end system.

I have this in my build (should be simularly priced if you would build it now)

i5-10400F

RX 5500 XT (1660S would be very simular, pick whatever is the cheapest)

ASrock B460M Pro4

Corsair TX550M V2

Crucial MX500 500GB

16GB HyperX Fury 3200 (any kit would work, pick whatever has the best price/warranty when you order parts)

Antec DP301M (you could choose a different case to what you like)

 

Honestly I recommend you to wait  with ordering the CPU & GPU. Why? There are rumors that Intel will bring new 11th gen CPU's and GPU prices are all a mess right now. Maybe even a prebuilt with the same price would give you better hardware seeing current prices. Also, if you play Minecraft or use emulators, please get the 1660S instead of the 5500 XT (AMD's OpenGL driver is terrible)
