CRT monitor not working

So I'm trying to hook up this CRT monitor to a Windows XP machine where it has worked before but now the CRT like turns on no image then turns off and the button blinks

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Are you sure the CRT monitor itself is good?

Have you tried booting XP into safe mode?

I actually fixed it and it was a issue even professionals do sometimes plugging the cable into the motherboard
