High-pitched sound when I move the mouse

This is a problem I have just encountered. This problem arose after getting Rival 3. When I move the mouse, there is a high-pitched noise (like sizzle) that I cannot understand where it is coming from. This sound is heard constantly while on the move. Sound is not coming from the headphones, it still comes on when I turn down the computer volume. What is the reason? If it is caused by a mouse, is it under warranty?

Did you check underneath the mouse and give it a good cleanout? You could also try a different pad or no pad at all. Could be something small that is just rubbing in the wrong way.
