Gamer Girl A E S T H E T I C

Fasauceome

Your first PC should be something special, something that you never really forget. For my girlfriend, there was no other option. Never a gamer, but always seeing clean white and pastel setups on social media, she knew exactly what she wanted it to look like.

Prices below are not necessarily representative of what I paid. I didn't get ripped off, don't worry.

The memory miraculously appears to be running at the rated 3600 despite the first gen Ryzen memory controller. The X570 motherboard helps a lot, as they generally have nice thick memory traces.

My biggest unknown was the case. I had hands on experience with almost every other part in some capacity, but the case was something I'd never personally seen. Typically not a problem, but unusually this case was listed with two versions on the Inwin site. One with LED lighting on the front logo, one with RGB "depending on regional availability." Sadly no mention of what regions get the RGB version, but in a stroke of luck the US appears to be one of those regions.

The RGB front logo is real nice, and the really wide motherboard tray is a treat for any E-ATX aspirants.

How's your experience with that case so far? I'm getting ready to do something very similar. Mine is going to be doing most of the building, with help, so I'm looking for something that works well and also stays nice and cool.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

The airflow is quite good, I really like the clearance from the ground to the bottom of the case so the floor fans are viable. Not the biggest fan of the ceiling instead of basement for PSU extra cables, but the space behind the backplate overall is adequate for cable routing. The side fan mount is removable, which is really nice for installing a large radiator or something unwieldy. With two 2.5" and two 3.5" bays you're pretty good on storage space, nothing exceptional but the removable drive sleds for the small drives are pretty nice. Lack of reset button and front audio I/O might be a pain for some users. HDD LED is orange only so if you have a more cohesive color scheme and don't want the light intrusion, leave it unplugged.

That's everything I needed to know. Thanks!

I like the looks! Purple is actually my favorite color and I am most definitely not a girl. I have LL fans in my wifes PC and have them set to pink as its her favorite color. RGB is a great thing... and I must admit I hated it at first, but it has definitely grown on me.

Yea, Audio I/O as well as USB is on the top or atleast my InWin 101C has it this way, though they are not labeled or color coded. I do however wish they were on the front. That and it's use of plastic push/pull latches for the side panel are my only complaints with the case, I accidently broke one of my latches off fairly easily when moving the tower so watch out for that.

Nice build though.

Yeah I don't like this stuff on the top either, it's just impractical to me.

This is funny mine stopped working for over a year, I tried everything and I was sure it's connected right, then just a few weeks ago it started to work again for no apparent reason! 🤔

Feels almost like the total opposite though, no RGB and rather chunky GPU !

(and has a reset button: D )

Nice  'gamer girl' case though! 😅
