PC CHOSE NOT TO BOOT

ok so i went into bios and upped my RAM speed and changed my smp profile, since then my pc has turned on but i have seen no signal to my monitor. i tried resetting cmos (or at least i think i did) i took out 1 stick of ram and it said boot issue on the mobo and when i put them back it said DRAM ISSUE

 

 

specs are

ryzen 5 3600

b550 tomahawk mag

5600xt

2x8 3200mhz rgb corsair ram

how did you do it

i sped up my ram by about 150mhz and i switch to xmp profile 2, in between the two pins i held a screw driver down for about 10 seconds, i think i shorted my ram though because of DRAM ez debug

so to about 3350MHz with XMP profile on? shouldnt be an issue

i think it was closer to 3400mhz and i’m really confused cuz i have no idea what’s going on lol

sounds like you got the right pin, according to the manual on page 25

make sure your PC is powered off before attempting it again, i recommend that you try again

sounds like you got the right pin, according to the manual on page 25

make sure your PC is powered off before attempting it again, i recommend that you try again

 

shouldnt have damaged anything

i turned the switch off but kept the plug in so i would not circuit the parts, although now my ram is not lighting up and i have the DRAM light flashing so i may have circuited that, lemme go try to cmos again

switch off but plugged in is fine and recommended

try reseating your RAM if clearing CMOS didn't help

unplug and plug your RAM back in

reseating = re-plug in
