FPS drops over time on an RX 580

WumpusTheVrBoy

I have an RX 580 8GB and I was just on Krunker with rivertuna statistics server running to test things and for a VERY simple test, I run Krunker on steam and started with 310fps with max graphics settings and then after about 15 mins-20 mins it went down to 90-100. The same thing happened with every game I play too.

Here are my more than capable specs list:

RX 580 8GB MSI Gaming X GPU

r5 2600 CPU WITH default cooler

8gb HyperX Fury 3200mhz ram

3 Case fans

stats wise, my games never make my cpu go over 60C which is fine for a 2600 and my ram is never above 85-90% (for some reason). Also my gpu never runs (too) hot and never goes above 70% usage at all for the games i play (apex, CS:GO, MC, krunker etc etc.)

Last thing i want to note is i have no apps open in bcground except teamspeak3 and I don't use any hacks or anything which limits fps etc.

P.S i overclocked my GPU power by 15% more to try and fix this and long story short - it didn't.

  • 3 weeks later...

Krunker on Steam is poorly optimized. I would recommend using a different client like browser or even MTZ client.
