Stuttering, fps drops and packet burst in all games :(

YaBoiBenjyy

Hey all new user here,

Im having stuttering issues with all of my games, everything was running fine up until about a month ago, I have a ryzen 3 3100, rx 570, 8gb DDR4 3000mhz corsair venegeance lpx ram

on warzone i average about 70 fps medium-low settings, around the same on other games, im not sure if it is a network issue, ive tried wired and wireless and no change, i tried a vpn but it didnt work, and all of the guides i watched all said the same stuff, i load into a tutorial mode (offline) and everything runs pretty smooth.

Im about to give up and buy a console, please help 😕

So you can play the tutorial at medium settings, that does not mean you can handle a full match at the same settings. Try with super low settings first. I am guessing you are not using 2 memory modules for dual channel? That's another 20 percent or so less performance. Your ram speed speed should be a bit higher but that won't cause stuttering.

Make sure you are not running any background applications (stream recorders, OBS are especially bad in your case). What happened since the last time you played just fine, did the game update (maybe you need to reinstall the game), did you update the graphics drivers (tried an older version)?

I use dual channel 8gb ram, ive closed all other applications and put the game to the lowest possible settings, and still it struggles to load, ive resintalled older drivers and ddu'd the others, no change 😕

I have warzone and it likes to use 14.5 GB of ram could be your issue but not likely.

Weird, dont really know how to fix this one... I know I get fps drops when I run out of VRAM on my card. but that doesn't seem to be the issue here.
