Mesh? I'm not sure what you mean other than those pads being pre-cut in large sheets. The "mesh" are just cut lines. Unless I'm mistaken and you're referencing something completely different.

Nah there's some white ones with a fabric/nylon mesh in them and they are super fragile, sort of like paste consistency but a bit thicker and the mesh is used to hold it together. Really good thermal conductivity, really bad durability.

At least I commonly find these on AMD reference GPUs, as is above.

Interesting. I haven't seen this before. But using fabric as a form of "rebar" for fragile material does make sense. But yeah, it can only be used once.
