the monitor usually will be able to automatically detect which input is in, but there is a button there somewhere on the monitor that lets you select which input. make sure its selected the appropriate one

the monitor should allow you to do this regardless if there is any input.

I am presuming your monitor itself is powering on?

you plugged the monitor power cable into a power source, right?

The LED indicator on the monitor isn't turning on?

Are you sure the wall outlet you're plugged into is not tied to a light switch?

Then if the monitor power indicator isn't on, I would presume something is wrong with the monitor. Try a different display. Even a TV.

Also make sure you shoved the power cord into the display fully. They can sometimes be a bit tight.

I'd recommend a surge protector as well instead of just plugging into the wall

Just to be clear, the TV turned on still but did not detect signal, is that correct?

I'd go back into your PC and reseat everything. CPU, memory, GPU....make sure everything's plugged in appropriately. Any PCIE supplemental GPU cables (probably not for a 1650 but check). Make sure the top EPS power plug for your CPU is plugged in as well.

Are the GPU fans spinning?

Is there any input (black screen, etc.) or just no signal?

Do you have a different GPU to try out?

I'd give re-seating everything a shot. Even just giving the ram an extra firm seating. Sometimes RAM not plugged in all the way can make things go bonkers.

According to the ASUS website (which is being slow as heck today for some reason) it should support the 3600 since BIOS 1806. I don't know which one you have on the board, but I have to assume if it says Ryzen 3000 ready it is loaded with the correct BIOS. It does not appear this board has BIOS Flashback, so we can't be sure unless you have a 1st or 2nd gen chip laying around to find out if that may be the cause.
