This is... Incredible, technologically.

The fact that we can transfer this class of data (dozen to hundreds of MB, by my napkin math) over so many thousands of miles: This is incredible.

About a 130 million miles, actually. Yeah it’s really far! 
 

That said, something like the Voyager 1 transmitting data over 15 billion miles kind of dwarfs that distance.

It’s worth noting that it wasn’t streaming that back during landing AFAIK. That was sent back after the fact and probably took a long time similar to the other rovers.

This is, however, the only time I've seen real video beamed over such a distance (even if it took one or two days to send it all). Crazy!
