Which pc should I go for

Jays__
Go to solution Solved by Niswendel,

The second one uses a 2080 not 3000 series, neither are too great

Budget (including currency): 1550

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: escape from tarkov, gta v, rust, rainbow six siege

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 144-240hz dual monitors 1440p

I found 2 used PCs for around $1500 ( I wanted to build one but with the current situation with gpu prices I think this is the better option and I’m impatient 😂

I need 2 monitors so I was going to purchase 2 ( 1440p 144hz for $270 ) with the 3070 build but the 2nd build comes with one.

first build $1550

Specs :

*Graphics card - Zotac Geforce 3070 Twin edge OC white edition

*CPU - Intel Core i7-7700K

*CPU COOLER - Kraken Z63 W/ LED screen

*Motherboard - MSI Z270 SLI PLUS

*Ram - CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4

*PSU - EVGA 600 Gold Power Supply

*Case - NZXT H510

*memory - Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

* windows 10 pro

2nd build is a prebuilt shown in the picture but it comes with an Alienware aw2518hf 240hz monitor and then I’d have to purchase a 2nd

model:

cyberpowerPC gamer xtreme vr

GXiVR8080A4

My thought is to sell the gpu down the road and add $100-$200 on top of it to buy a 3070-3080 for retail

If your going for a prebuilt though there are plenty of prebuilts with 3070/80s
