Always ON VGA Led Light

Hello y'all!

 

I just bought a MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK, the issue is that the VGA Led light is always on, my understanding is the led light is ON if there are issues that are currently happening.

 

The thing is that my pc works fine but I am just worried why is the VGA led light is always on when there are no issues.

i am guessing you're using a ryzen xxxxG processor? are you using the integrated gpu?

I have a Ryzen 5 3600X cpu and it wont run without any gpu. So, yes. You are correct.

 

Did you experience this kind of issue?

kind of, i was testing something out with my gpu power and noticed it by chance.

 

anyway first, make sure your gpu is properly seated. better yet just replace them. and the other is, make sure the power for your gpu is properly connected as well. in my case, i was testing my pcie power when i noticed the light being on. turns out that plugging only one 8pin pcie power doesn't provide enough power to the GPU causing the LED light to be on.
