Arriving on March 10, seems like Asus is skipping the number 4 for unluckiness. Spots a snapdragon 888, 65W charging and what appears to be a dotted screen in the back. More details will be announced once the phone is released.

Asus has set up an event page on its website with a countdown to the launch event. It will begin at 7PM (UTC+8) in Taipei and 12AM (UTC+1) in Berlin. And if you are in New York, it will start at 6AM (UTC-5) on March 10.

Do note that we are talking about the ROG Phone 5 with model code I005DA. There's another variant bearing model designation I005DB, which is expected to arrive in global markets with similar specs.

Performance wise it trades blows with the galaxy S21: worse single core but better multi.

A and B model difference may refer to the "Tencent" version which has less storage.

Thoughts: I wonder have they considered the thermal issues that the 888 seems to have worse over the 865+? If so I might consider it.

Overall, gaming or not I like this phone. It's fairly dense and specs are great.

Just another waste of silicon, move along.

Care to elaborate? Or should we just "move along" from your opinion?

Spoiler

Yes I know fast charging exists.

My mom's laptop charging brick is 65w.

Image result for concern

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.
