Black screen after motherboard logo.

Hello , so i wanted to upgrade my GTX750ti gpu, to a 1060 3gb. i uninstalled the old drivers using DDU, turned off my pc, installed the new 1060 gpu, my pc turns on, the motherboard logo comes on, and after that i get a black screen. i put the old GPU in and everything works fine, i tried connecting my screen to my motherboard when the 1060 is in and i cant even see the mobo logo. Any tips or suggestions on what i should try doing?
