should i buy RTX3070 for 650$, if so what kind of power-supply i need to buy?750w? 850w?

i have a ryzen 3600x with 16 gb of 3200 memory

750w should be fine, as long as it's a good brand.

 

Also, be aware of the specific card TDP. For example, Nvidia say that 1070Ti cards are 180w, but my EVGA card is rated at 235w, which is a 31% increase. Your GPU (220w), plus your CPU (65w), plus a general over-estimate of 150w for the rest of the system comes to 435w. To get some decent overhead for all that, multiply by 1.5 and get 653w (it's a messy, but generally reliable formula). If the 3070 is using more than 220w for its TDP, or it is inclined to take a lot more than 220w when running at max load, that 653w will rise to as much as 700w.

 

So I say 750w is a little overkill, but it's a safe bet. I'm using a 750w for my 1070Ti, and so far, so good.

a decent quality 650W should do just fine for a typical gaming rig

 

edit: i just remembered im running a 3600 + 3070 on a CX550M, butttttt i undervolted my GPU so there's that

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

For only $150 from the real price, yeah it's not bad.

With 3600x you need 550w minimum.
