Installing a new motherboard & CPU, will I need to reinstall windows on my SSD?

Let me preface this: I am NOT talking about re-activating Windows, I am talking about INSTALLING it.

I am switching platforms entirely, from an Intel Z370 motherboard to a new AMD B550 board. Would using the same installation of Windows cause me issues (drivers or something)? I don't want to wipe my OS drive unless I have to, but I understand if I do have to wipe it and reinstall Windows.

You might be able to get by without doing so, but this just completely avoids any issues of drivers crossing over and whatnot

It isn't required, but I would most certainly recommend reinstalling Windows. It may save a bunch of headaches in the future.
