deskmat Mouse mat shipped folded and is creased. Help

Recently I decided I wanted to finally get a mouse pad/deskmat that was better than the usual free ones I've always ended up with. Unfortunately they shipped the thing folded and now I have creases divided it in 3 sections. I'm having a hard time finding info on safe ways to flatten it out. Don't care if the solution takes time or isn't super easy I just want to find a way to flatten it out that wont ruin the graphic or warp the shape. Says its make of polyester something something so I linked the product page.

Fold it gently in the opposite direction to help flatten it, and then put something heavy on it (textbooks) for a few hours or days if possible

Hey DWG, were you able to find a solution that worked for you?  I just received one that has identical creases to yours, and ironing/heavy weights isn't working.
