Nier Automata: Can i play with keyboard only?

Hi guys, usually when playing "Hack & Slash" games with mouse and keyboard, i used to get my mouse broken for some reason, usually because of the intensive hits on clicks as its hack & slash games.

 

Recently i was playing DMC series, and finished it all with keyboard only including DMC 5, it was possible to do that with no need to mouse at all, also my experience was much fun, as it was fully easier and smooth using the keyboard only.

 

I was asking if its possible to do so with "Nier Automata"?

alternatively, don't use a cheap mouse... There's no reason you should be breaking a mouse playing any game by just clicking. That's pretty much it's one job...

You're right, and i agree with you totally, but actually that's not the point only, i can feel myself enjoying the gameplay more with keyboard only like DMC series, even more those days my mouse was working amazingly.

So again asking, can i play "Nier Automata" with only keyboard?

Have you tried loading up the game and trying? You posted this half an hour ago and it would take about 2 minutes to load up the game and try. Same with a simple google search. I copy and pasted your post title into google word for word and got the answer. Yes you can. Theres a bunch of posts about doing just that going back years.  You posted on a forum the most basic of questions when you could have more than easily answered your own question with minimal effort. You could at least TRY to help yourself...

Well, first of all, I think its ok to post here, site's rules are not disagreeing with, that's a point.

Secondly: I'm still thinking about the game, so I don't have it on my PC.

Thirdly: I actually have searched google, most of topics were talking about keyboard & mouse together, but I have mentioned keyboard only, there's not enough discussions answering this in more detail, so i posted here, looking forward for someone who tried this game using keyboard only, to share his experience with.

Yes i know that topic, however, i was looking forward for more experiences from other people, but anyways, thanks again for your help, sorry for inconvenience.

So you want a second opinion on a second opinion? Your post only asked if it was possible to which i answered. Its not an inconvenience but you should probably be more specific about the answers you're looking for. If you wanna chat with someone about their specific experience playing Nier: Automata with just a keyboard you should mention that.

 

Also, I have the game and it is a fun one. I suggest playing it even if you can't do keyboard only.

I played the game and in scenes that are side scrolling I had to use a controller to get through.

I was not happy about it since any time I have to plug the controller in I know that it is a bad port.
